Tennessee Wendy’s Manager Poured Hot Oil on Customer Who Complained About Food

A supervisor at a Wendy‘s in Huntingdon, Tennessee, allegedly poured sizzling oil on a buyer who complained about his meals.

Zayveon Johnson is accusing Wendy’s supervisor Demarrus E. Pritchett of pouring sizzling oil on him for complaining about his meals whereas within the drive-thru. In surveillance footage, Pritchett will be seen dousing Johnson with the oil reportedly after Johnson had requested for a refund.

In response to Insider, Pritchett was within the mode of issuing Johnson a refund following a “verbal altercation” between the 2 of them allegedly over Johnson’s meal. That’s when he went again to the restaurant’s kitchen, grabbed a metallic pan of sizzling oil and dumped it on him. However from Pritchett’s aspect of the story, he claims Johnson typically harasses him, and his use of the oil was merely a response to Johnson’s ongoing alleged misconduct. He talked about that Johnson had been “harassing [him] over the course of several weeks about dogs.”

Johnson was instantly taken to and handled on the Baptist Memorial Hospital. Police say Johnson has “obvious extensive blistering.”

Johnson’s mom advised WBBJ7, “I really thought that he was going to go to the back and get my food right, and bring it back,” and “it shocked me when he threw the grease on me.”

Wendy’s has but to talk out concerning the incident. Pritchett was charged with aggravated assault.
