Student Attacks Disabled Teacher As Part Of “Slap A Teacher Challenge”

A pupil has been arrested after attacking a disabled trainer for the viral “Slap a Teacher Challenge.”

Larrianna Jackson was apprehended Wednesday when police responded to Covington Excessive Faculty in Louisiana a few bodily assault on the trainer. Authorities found that the incident was recorded, probably for the favored social media problem that exhibits college students hitting their lecturers. Within the cellular phone footage, the educator is seen sitting at her desk talking with 18-year-old Jackson, who’s standing up. For no obvious purpose, Jackson started punching the trainer and pulling her from her chair. As soon as the trainer was on the bottom, Jackson continued beating her. 

The 64-year-old trainer was transported to a neighborhood hospital for accidents sustained in the course of the assault. Jackson was arrested and charged with suspicion of battery of a faculty trainer, a felony. She stays in St. Tammany Jail.

Two further warrants have been issued for the scholars who recorded the assault. One juvenile and 18-year-old Trinity Gervais turned themselves into the Covington Police Division, charged with violation of illegal posting of felony exercise for notoriety and publicity, which is a misdemeanor.

TikTok has issued a press release condemning the violent problem.

“The rumored ‘slap a teacher’ dare is an insult to educators everywhere,” the corporate wrote.
