Sportscaster Stephen A. Smith is apologizing for feedback he made about Rihanna and her upcoming Tremendous Bowl Halftime efficiency.
Wednesday, the First Take host was a visitor on Sherri Shepherd’s daytime discuss present, the place he was requested about Rih Rih’s anticipated efficiency. Whereas he did supply reward to the Fenty founder, he proclaimed, “she ain’t Beyonce.”

“Ladies and gentlemen, [Rihanna is] a lot of things. She’s spectacular actually and congratulations on new mamahood. There’s one thing she’s not — she ain’t Beyoncé.”

The vocal ESPN character took to social media later Wednesday afternoon to supply an apology to the “Needed Me” singer.

“I meant it as no disrespect to Rihanna. I know she’s phenomenal and she’s my sister. Nothing but love for her, but Beyoncé is my sister, too.”
However, Smith confirmed he’s received love for each singers and is wanting ahead to seeing Rih carry out at Tremendous Bowl LVII on Feb. 12.
