Professional boxer Danny Kelly Jr. was fatally shot on Christmas Eve in a possible street rage incident.
In response to the police, the 30-year-old and his household had been driving to a vacation get together when the suspect pulled up subsequent to Kelly’s household automotive and opened hearth. It seems neither Kelly’s girlfriend nor his three kids had been injured.
“Patrol officers were called to the 4400 block of St. Barnabas Road” in Temple Hills, an announcement explains. “They discovered Kelly unresponsive in the driver’s seat of an SUV suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead a short time later at a hospital.”

He added, “St. Barnabas Road is a heavily traveled roadway. If any other drivers saw anything there on Christmas Eve or may have information that could help, please call us. You can stay anonymous. We are committed to providing answers to his family.”
The police are providing a $25,000 reward for info resulting in an arrest and indictment associated to this taking pictures. From Clinton, Maryland, Kelly was well-known in the boxing circles in that state.
Kelly’s godmother Bernadine Walker advised WUSA9, that “He was a wonderful dad. He loved his babies. He loved his children.”
She added, “We traveled all over the place watching him boxing. Only for him to knock his opponent out in thirty seconds … He just had that trigger in him. He had that drive to be a good boxer.”
