Pennsylvania Man Charged for Killing Postal Worker He Claimed Was Poisoning His Family

A 53-year-old man shot and killed a postal employee in Pennsylvania Thursday morning, and investigators say the gunman believed the sufferer was poisoning him.

Eric Kortz allegedly gunned down Louis Vignone, a 58-year-old veteran USPS mail provider, in Collier Township at about 10:15 a.m.

Kortz informed authorities that he and Vignone have been former neighbors, and he believed that the postman had been poisoning his household with cyanide.

The suspect informed investigators that he tracked Vignone’s mail route and allegedly confessed to investigators that he got down to “put some bullets in” him.

Kortz reportedly drove to the precinct shortly after the lethal capturing, the place he was charged with Vignone’s homicide.
