Nike postponed its upcoming launch of the Air Max 1 x Cactus Jack collaboration with Travis Scott within the wake of the Astroworld tragedy that left ten folks lifeless and a whole lot extra injured.
On Monday, the sneaker big wrote on its SNKRS app that “Out of respect for everyone by the tragic events at the Astroworld Festival, we are postponing the launch of the Air Max 1 x Cactus Jack.”
Scott has had a number of high-profile releases with the model, the primary launching in 2017. His newest collaboration was scheduled to be launched on December 16.
The sneakers have been set to drop within the “Saturn Gold” and “Baroque Brown” colorways and would have retailed for $160.
