Michael B. Jordan & Serena Williams Giving $1 Million To HBCU Entrepreneurs
Actor Michael B. Jordan and tennis icon Serena Williams have joined forces to reward HBCU college students and alumni with $1 million to fund their entrepreneurial endeavors.
The initiative is a collaborative effort between Williams’s funding firm, Serena Ventures, Jordan’s Invesco QQQ Legacy Traditional, and the newly established capital agency, MaC Enterprise Capital. These trying to get a chunk of that $1 million should submit their enterprise plans to enter the competition. Winners might be introduced on December 18th throughout halftime of the Invesco QQQ Legacy Traditional Basketball Showcase Finals in New Jersey.
Alison Stillman, the overall accomplice at Serena Ventures, known as HBCUs an “integral part of our educational ecosystem” that has been on the middle of “entrepreneurial excellence.”
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Michael B. Jordan and MaC Ventures on highlighting the brilliant student and alumni founders,” Stillman said.
Thirty-5 Ventures, Cake Ventures, and Harlem Capital Companions may even be part of the three corporations in working intently with the winners to deliver their proposals to life.
