Malcolm X’s Youngest Daughter, Malikah Shabazz, Found Dead in Brooklyn Home

Based on the NYPD, Malikah Shabazz, the daughter of slain Black civil rights activist Malcolm X, died yesterday.

Shabazz, 56, was discovered unconscious at her Brooklyn dwelling by her daughter.

At this second, police imagine the demise was of pure causes.

Bernice King, the late Martin Luther King Jr.’s daughter, expressed her condolences.

“I’m deeply saddened by the death of #MalikahShabazz. My heart goes out to her family, the descendants of Dr. Betty Shabazz and Malcolm X. Dr. Shabazz was pregnant with Malikah and her twin sister, Malaak, when Brother Malcolm was assassinated. Be at peace, Malikah,” she wrote on Twitter.

Shabazz is Malcolm X’s youngest of six daughters.

Throughout a court docket listening to on Thursday, two people convicted of the assassination have been exonerated.

The movement to vacate the convictions of Muhammad Aziz and the late Khalil Islam was granted by Administrative Choose Ellen Biben of the New York County Supreme Court docket.
