High School Principal Apologizes After Football Team Won Game 106-0

A Los Angeles highschool principal has apologized after going through criticism for lack of sportsmanship after the varsity’s soccer staff didn’t simply win the sport however beat the opposing staff 106-0.

Principal Debbie Tate of Inglewood High School issued an apology in an announcement on Monday, saying that her faculty’s staff didn’t conduct themselves “with sportsmanship or integrity and the final score was unacceptable.”

“Our administration and coaching staff believe that athletics should be a source of pride for our community. While Friday’s game did not reflect our best judgment as administrators, the Morningside High School and Inglewood High school football players and their coaches have worked hard all season and deserve our respect,” Tate continued.

Officers on the Inglewood Unified School District (IUSD) (which each colleges belong to) stated they’re “saddened beyond words” in regard to the sport’s rating and can conduct an investigation.

“We will conduct a full investigation and take whatever steps are necessary to ensure that a similar outcome never happens again under an IUSD athletic program,” the county administrator, Erika Torres, stated in an announcement.
